So Just How Long Are You Contagious?

A friend and I were just discussing this in light of my recent cold, so I thought I'd post what I found: Read it here.

  1. Christina, I couldn't get that link to work. Can you repost it? On a somewhat related note (okay, not really), I thought you'd be interested in this article: http://www.medpagetoday.com/Pediatrics/Autism/22078 It yields more questions than answers, but it at least encourages a healthy curiosity about the relationship between vaccines/thiomersal and autism/other disorders.

  2. Hey Jacqui- thanks! I fixed the link... an extra "http" was hiding in there.

As for your article, I really appreciate it! It actually brought another article immediately to mind-- this one: http://www.westonaprice.org/childrens-health/334-autism-and-vaccinations.html. What made me think of it was the section on eye damage. One thing I wonder is whether the acellular pertussis now used does the same as the old pertussis toxoid (DTaP v DTP).

Vitamin A is soooo crucial, and as a fat-soluble vitamin in our fat-free culture, it's one kids lack in droves.

"These children are physically ill, immunosuppressed with a chronic autoimmune disorder affecting multiple organ systems."

I think that thimerisol in vaccines is only a piece of the puzzle. The whole vaccination package is involved, at least in my mind.
